to have my wisdom teeth pulled. I've been in pain for days, and it got a lot worse today. I just got home from the dentist. The wisdom teeth on the bottom are impacted and the gum is infected so tomorrow I have a consultation appt. with an oral surgeon. The sucker has to come out. I'm happy its coming out, but terrified at the same time.

You'll be OK! Just think about how great it will feel to not have to deal with them anymore. Once they are out, no more pain!

Two of mine were impacted as well and the bottom one was connected to a nerve. Even the the surgeon was great I still felt some numbness. He said that would happen b/c of the nerve. The pain was really bad since it was so deep there was a hole it eventually closed up but the pain was bad! Just do as the surgeon advices and you'll be alright. BTW: Make sure you take those meds when prescribed when that pain kicks in you dont want to have to wait for the meds to work trust me

OMG I can only imagine :hugs: I have to get mine pulled to, but probably won't do it until next spring. On the bright side once you get them out you won't be in anymore pain.
