The time has come...and now I need help!

So with 2 months to go until the wedding, FH and I finally decided to go somewhere warm and tropical on our honeymoon. We just need to relax from the constant chaos that is our lives haha. We would like an all inclusive location with some excursions like zip lining or snorkeling etc.

My questions: Who are some travel agents you guys have used? Where are you going? What are you doing and of course, how much were you quoted?

Any info would be super helpful.

Thanks a million!

We decide on a cruise to Bermuda. We looked into Punta Cana and couldn't imagine waking up at some insane time in the morning to make a flight. Our cruise leaves from NY, which is awesome because there isn't any time wasted traveling and we don't have to be there until 1. Also, a huge plus is that cruises have drink packages now! So for $49 a day pp, We can eat and drink all we want :) The cruise in total is costing us $4100 and that's for a suite. And of course, any excursions can be added on at anytime!

Just wanted to add that our cruise is a little more costly because we'll be away for the 4th of July. Cruises are so cheap these days!

we booked at sandals la toc in st. lucia for all of the reasons you listed above. we wanted to relax, but knew that st. lucia has the volcanos and ziplining and stuff so we decided on going there. If you go on the sandals site, you can search if the dates you want are available, and a travel agent will contact you through there.

I am using Patty Houghton at totem travel.. I've been e-mailing with her throughout the whole process and she's been wonderful. She recommended booking a butler suite so that our pool chairs will be reserved and the dinner reservations will be made for us, and put a request in for the best location of our room as well. If you want her info to ask about pricing and stuff for your honeymoon, I can FM it to you.

We are going to a Sandals Resort in Ocho Rios Jamaica. We have a beach front room, its all inclusive and a honeymoon suite of some kind. We are going for exactly a week. Airfare included it costs us a little under $5,000. I did my research about where we wanted to go. But we did use a travel agent to do the actual booking and help us make a final decision. the travel agent I used is Roe Postilio. She works at Creative Travel/Amex. Her phone number is
516 541 5390 and email is [email protected]. She was great. We are actually in the process of booking my future in laws surprise trip with her.

We are going to Sandals Antigua. It's a very low key island, but we were considering St. Lucia as well. St. Lucia is definitely more for the adventurous types! I would highly recommend Melissa from Trip Guy. She's awesome to work with and there are no fees! She specializes in Sandals too so it was a great experience dealing w/her.
