The Unwashed Masses...

The Unwashed Masses...

On a daily (or even weekly) basis, who are the strangers who annoy you?

For example...

The Rider-Uppers.....these people stand behind me in line. I mean directly behind me in line. They stand so close I can feel they're breath on the back of my neck. And everytime I take a step forward they scoot themselves right into my lower back.

The Cutter-Offers.... This just happened this morning. Some guy on the 135 made a big production of speeding across all 3 lanes, weaving in an out of traffic to cut me off and go...wait for it...40 mph. In the left lane.

Yakky McPolite-Alot...the @sshat I see in 7-11 some mornings who always 'graciously' allows me to cut him even though I have been ON line and he just sort of wanders over when he feels like and is all chatty with me. Dude, shut up. It's 8 am, get in the back of the line...like a normal person!!

Commuting into the city.....

Subway chargers: those people that come from behind you while you are patiently waiting to get onto the subway, push you and then proceed to charge in front of you to the last available seat on the train

Subway Impatients: Those people that insist on getting into the train before all the people are off

Spitters: Those nasty people that insist on spitting on the sidewalk or in the street (men & I've even seen woman do it).

i hear ya.

i hate it when i am driving on hemp tpke and someone who is coming out of a parking lot just has to jump out in front of you, when there are no cars behind me. can't you wait like 4 seconds until i pass then come out.

i really hate it when i have to return something or if i am buying something and the cashier does not say one word to me throughout the entire check out process. no, 'hello' or 'thank you.' they can't even tell me the f'in price, i have to read if off of the register.

I totally agree with the subway kvetch!!

I am NOT a morning person, and in the evening when I am just trying to get home, I'm not exactly a sweetiepie either, so just walking on Broadway bugs the crap out of me. MOVE IT PEOPLE!!!! IT'S ONLY NEON!!! A PLOY TO GET YOUR HARD EARNED BUCK!!!

Speaking of the 'unwashed masses'...

The no-washers that refuse - for whatever illogical and slightly insane reason - to wash their hands in a public restroom. After washing MY hands like the good germ-fearing citizen that I am, I am forced to open the restroom door with a paper towel covering my hand, then dash to the garbage bin to throw away the paper towel before the door closes.

I only have a few

the people on the lirr who insist in a quiet car to compete with the sound of the train and literally scream into there phone. 'im sure it can wait'

people in line at a store who at the register say 'oh i forgot' then wander off and look for there item when like ten angry people are standing in back of them.

or when like cvs has that one line I hate that there are reasons why there are more then one cashier. That drives me crazy.

When people bring McDonald's on the train on the way home and makes the entire car smell like grease. ewwwwwww

Also when people insitst on sitting on the train ripping out every freekin article that they might need!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The tearing sound drives me crazy.

And another is when I am driving and like a group of motorcylcles comes out of nowhere and the kids on the bikes are driving to crazy and you feel like you are going to hit one of them.

im sure there are more. I will think of some.

You just described me completely. I might be worse. People are so dirty-especially in the bathroom. LOL! I am so bad - I even tell my friends at work which people I see in the bathroom and warn them not to shake hands with them. Talk about spreading illness - the flu season is going to be bad enough. Women look at me funny when I take the paper towel over the door handle before throwing it out. And just in case - I have some of that hand sanatizer back at my desk.
