Is anyone, or did anyone use The Velvet Studio? I think I am going to go check them out & I was wondering who is a great photographer at Velvet. I am looking for 2 photogs, a traditional and a photojournalist.

i am using Velvet. It is a husband and wife team. Bob does the traditional photography and his wife does the black and whites. Their son is doing our video. Bob is great, our engagement pics were awsome and he is really down to earth.

We are using Velvet studios. I've heard many excellent recommendations about them. We looked at about 7 photographers b/c the photographer we thought was one of the most important parts of the wedding. They recently did our engagement pics. and we were very happy with them! and Bob makes you feel very comfortable in front of the camera. My friend who is also getting married this summer is using them. They're prices are also reasonable. Good luck!

I'm using them too. After i saw CaMacho's review I had to meet with them and I got the best price for what I wanted.

I haven't been on here in a while, but just happened to see this post. I used Velvet and was extremely happy with them, we LOVE our proofs and video!
Does anyone mind Fming me prices and what you received in your package as well for velvet. I am kind of on a tight budget and want to spend around $2000-3000 on photography packages. I called Supershooters and they are totally within that range, however, I heard so many good things about velvet I am curious if they are in my range also.
Also, do they have a website? For some reaosn having problems locating them online.

We are using Bob for our wedding this month.
Velvet did my sister's wedding- she had Jerry though because Bob was booked and he did a great job as well. When we looked around at other photographers, no one could come close to what we wanted. We were so happy to meet with Bob to work with our budget and what we wanted. I know we are getting great quality and service for a great price!

i used velvet too and LOVED them! i have some proofs in my album, but a ton more in my review. my epics are also in my album. i'd highly recommend them!
