I am a Carltun Bride...in 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am still so sad about the hotel and the Carltun isn't what I wanted (at all) sand and surf vs grass and golf, but at least I know they do a great job!
And most importantly, I'm getting MARRIED in 16 daysssssss!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I'm glad it worked out - even if it wasn't what you wanted, I'm sure it'll be beautiful! And at least you can be at rest and focus on the rest of your plans for the next 16 days!

Im happy you have a resolution. But I really think your wedding is going to be perfect and you aren't even going to be thinking about sand and the hotel!

I know it's like a bitter sweet thing.. happy you have a place for the wedding... but sad it's not the beach thing. Maybe oneday you can do a vow renewal on the beach!! And have a second chance later on!!

Congrats on finding a new location! I'm sure it's a huge relief, even if it's not exactly what you had invisioned. Is there any chance you'd be able to go to Sands Point or one of the other area beaches to at least get some beachy pictures?

I'm so sorry your wedding isn't going to turn out the way you wanted....At least you can have your wedding at a place that is superb though!! The Carltun is SPECTACULAR. They are just great!!! One of our closest family friends got married there and it was AMAZING!!! Their outdoor ceremony space is GORGEOUS!! Think English Garden. I know not what you wanted, but different beautiful. They are $$$$ and we just couldn't swing the kind of wedding I wanted there. I know your wedding is going to be sick! I hope they are upgrading you in every possible way though Kat. Good luck mama!!!!!!!! xoxoxo ps I paid about $55/light for 12 LED uplights...so $720. I got it through my dj. The hall should be able to upgrade you somehow on this in your case. I'm so happy for you that at least you have a venue. I know it's not what you wanted...but I totally agree with Kerri, one day, get yourself to a beach and renew your vows! What's meant to be will be.
