I heard that they redid the VC. Has anyone been out to Aquebogue to see it?

We went there to look for our wedding. It was really nice and the price was good. I know a colleague's daughter just got married there and they had nothing but great things to say about it. The outside is really nice! We didn't pick it for a few reasons but it depends on what kind of wedding you want.

I was there this past weekend for my final appointment to pick menu, etc. It is GORGEOUS. The two things I was not in love with before there--the ceiling and the dance floor--were changed and they are so beautiful. They put in a big marble dance floor--it's beautiful and makes the room look so much brighter. They also raised the ceiling and took out that tile and put a different kind of ceiling in--really pretty. Hope that helps!

Not too much--just working out the little details now. And, of course the last week, I'll be stuffing out of town bags, bathroom baskets, etc...but things are definitely wrapping up. I have one more dress fitting and one more florist appt and that's it for appts. We also got our marriage license yesterday so things are really coming together! Can't believe it's coming so soon. We had our tasting a couple of months ago--it's so delicious. I can't wait for the wedding!

I didn't really like the ceiling either...lol. What about the chandeliers? What kind of lighting do they have now?
I wanna go see now.....


I've actually been to a wedding at the Vineyard (there are a FEW photos in my album)....the food is PHENOMENAL and all around they do a great job.....when I got engaged I checked out a few other places...but the Vineyard gave me the most bang for my buck, and of course...I had a great experience there a few months earlier

any specific food recommendations here? I love the fact that sushi is included! It's a great package and it's so beautiful! Cross fingers for a nice day!

i am going out on Wednesday to see the work done...i am so excited. a friend went there on saturday night for a fd dinner and said the food was phenominal, the place was gorgeous & everything was perfect. the closer to october we get, the more excited i am about having my wedding there
