Ok...So I just have to vent how my 2nd visit to the wedding center in Commack was jsut horrible. First.. While I was waiting for one of my bridesmaid to arrive, I decided to look at invitations. I saw that they have an Encore book and was interested in seeing it. I asked one of the sales woman if I look at it, and instead of just saying 'yea, sure'.. she goes like 'Um, how much are you looking to spend?' I was like 'WHAT'
Sales woman: What is your budget? Me: I dont know, around $300, can I just see the invitations? S.W: well these are too expensive. Me: well, how do you know if its too expensive for me? S.W: Cause you just said $300, and these are more than $300 you should look at these (Birchcraft) Me: I just threw a number at you, I didnt know that you would tell me what I can and cannot afford or look at.
this went on for like about 5 mins.. by the time she gave me the book I was soo pissed off I was just flipping pages and cursing her out in my head.
I dont know but I surely dont think I was wrong for feeling insulted.
Next, when I was trying on dresses the sales lady didnt even bother helping me clip the dresses. My bridesmaid, thank god for her did all the work. I found a dress that I liked and while my bridesmaid was helping me into it, the sales lady (I wish I had her name) said to my bridesmaid.. dont bother (Too clip it) I'm too big for the dress. I'm only a size 12.. for gods sake she made me feel like I was huge whale. Its not my fault that they only carry sample sizes...
egh... they need to take a class in customer service 101!

that store is a joke.. the people are rude and the store is nothing special to look at. sorry you had a bad experience

they are ALWAYS like that in there rude!!!
i went there to try on dresses and then again after i ordered my gown to show it to my sister
i knew i'd never order from them though - very nasty
my mom and sister went one day and they looked them up and down

trust me --- don't bother with them anymore. even if you called tomorrow to complain about the customer service----they won't care. the owner, bob...NEVER thinks his employees do wrong--he alwaysblames the customer

You got that right!!! I saw them at a showcase and i HATED the way he approached me, so when he said 'oohhhh I see you are carrying my bag, have you ever heard of us here at TWC' I said 'yup, sure did and all bad things!' My poor FH's mouth dropped to the floor. Bob smuggly said 'well I've been in business for 44 years so I can't be that bad'. Um Yah, if they gave me the dress for free, I wouldn't go there!

OMG tomorrow... you should totally go in there with the most EXPENSIVE and lavish invitations in hand an ask if she works off commission...

that happened to me too when i went there. I had not budget for my wedding dress and when i tried on the dress i was dying for.. they were staring. and we asked about having a certian veil with the dress, the lady said oh that would cost you to much because the company of the dress has to make it.. My mom said we didn't ask you price we asked if it can be done. She looked and said something on the lines to another girl.. money's no object for this one.. it was rude. she kept making it seem like we couldn't afford anything. they should be shut down based on their attitudes alone!!!
I found my dress way cheaper with out even asking for a cheaper price at the Bridal Suite of Centereach! and Jeanie who helped me throughout my whole process what the nicest person.
Nobody ever go to wedding center of commack.

What a B**ch!!! I would'ved dropped the dress and walked out. Definitely call them up and say how rude they were. I would report them to the BBB too. That will teach them. It reminds me of Pretty Woman with Julia Roberts.
If you want mybusiness, then you should respect me. They're just giving themselves a bad rep by doing this.

I saw him at an Expo too, and he kept saying what a 'nice' guy he is....um....excuse me...if you are nice, I will see that quality right off the bat! It's only when you are an a$$ that you have to convince people that you are nice.....

CWC is notorious for horrible customer service. They only manage to stay in business because they have a huge selection and their prices are lower than most other places. To me, I would rather be treated nicely and spend a little more money. I saw my dress there, it was $150 cheaper. In the scheme of things, that wasn't very much and I didn't want to deal with their nasty employees.
