Can anyone help?? I just ordered my wedding dress from the wedding center in commack. I absolutely love the dress and got a great price. I was planning on getting it altered there, but the owner of another bridal shop told me that they are HORRIBLE at alterations. HAS ANYONE GOTTEN THEIR DRESS ALTERED THERE?? Thanks!

if u do a search on here theres a few reviews that ive seen atleast that ppl had bad exp buying and Alts! Well now that you bought...id def do alts else where only thing is you will pay more! when did u buy? maybe u have time to cancel and go to a more repitable place???

I called for a quote for some work to be done for my reception.. when I called I was transferred to 4 people who kept saying you have the wrong dept. and I finally found my way into the right dept. the person who handles what I was looking for wasn't in.. someone took down my info as to what I was looking for and said that they would get back to me.. that was 4 months ago.. I'm still waiting for that person to get back to me with a quote thank god I didn't hold my breath or else I would've !

All I have to say is the minute you smell an attitude or a vendor giving you a hard time and you have not signed a contract. yet. say to h*ll with them & run! we all have enough stress with planning our weddings and the last thing we want is a vendor being difficult.. we have bigger fish to fry ya know! good luck.. but go in there with a no time for BS attitude and you should be fine...

I will let you know about alterations for a BM dress next week. I don't like them and I told my mother that but she insisted we get dresses for my brothers wedding there! After ordering the dresses, my sister's dress came in 2 weeks later and my dress came in late and jackets we ordered came in the middle. I also requested that my size be a size smaller then the one they recommended for me and when I got the size smaller it was SWIMMING on me. The people at the desk are horribly rude and don't get off their tush to help people at all. I had to walk my dress across the parking lot to this shack that they did alterations and there were two girls helping me. I think one side is going to be more crooked then the other. Then they gave us a date for 1 week before the wedding. Me and my sister said no way and miraculously it will be done next week! This probably makes no sense to you but I would NEVER go there again! They are cheap for a reason!!!!!!!!!!

I would definetly do a search on them. When I went there to look, they were rude, unprofessional, and frustrating. I couldn't take pics of the dresses-needless to say- I never went back!
