The Wedding Center in Commack

Anybody have any good or bad experiences at the Wedding Center in Commack. Im thinkin about getiing my gown there, I heard they have good prices for Gowns and bridesmaid dresses

I got my gown there and so far so good the negative I heard is with the seamstress ..havente experienced that yet but MY GOWN IS IN and hav had no problems yet.

I used them for everything but my dress. They were great!

their prices are excellent, but i would recommend getting your dress altered elsewhere. there is no cap on alterations there.

I got my gown there and so far no problems. My gown only took a month to come in. I also got my invitations there and they came in a week. So far I have only had positive experiences.

I used them for BM dresses. I was very pleased with them.

I used them for my gown and my BM dresses. The only problem I had was with the alterations. They never told me that they 'close' for the holidays, and my wedding was on 1/4/03, so that was of importance to me. The alteration people can get nasty. See did an excellent job though. I had sleeves taken off to make it a tank style gown and she put matching beading all around and you couldn't tell it had sleeves. So if you do use them just realize that the lady is a little nasty.(she actually made my one friend cry when she was getting her gown done) HTH

I had everything done there, but favors, invites, and flowers.
All the dresses came out great. The lady is kinda mean but that's it.
She did great work in my opinion

I had a bad experience there with the alterations as well. The seamstress decided on her own that since I am not blessed naturally, she would put double padded cups in my bridesmaid gown. I was mortified! Luckily she took them out free of charge. I have heard a lot of negative things, but it seems that the brides here are working with them personally, so I would take their word over mine. Good luck with everything!

I got my BM dresses there, and my sister got her gown there. They have the BEST prices, and I have nothing but GREAT experieneces.
If you dont want to use them for alterations, go somehwere else, and just purchase the dress there.

My sister got her gown there, we just ordered her bridesmaid dresses from there, my mother and grandmother got a dress for my sisters wedding there, and I just ordered my wedding gown. Some of the people there are mean, but you can't beat some of the prices. There is one lady there, Helene, who is so nice! Try to get her to help you, even though they usually don't let you request people.
