My suspicions were correct about him. He wasn't excited about the wedding because he felt the whole engagement was a mistake and after 4 years, he tells me NOW that he hasn't been happy in YEARS?! I had no clue. I'm angry because I'm such a fool. I saw signs here and there but I REALLY didn't think it was cause for alarm. He left me yesterday. I have nobody...my family is in Florida and it looks like that's where I might be going. I can't pay the rent by myself. I'm just so devastated....but at the same time I feel relieved. I've been divorced already. This could have been another failed marriage. I wish you all the best...you're a great group and I've SO enjoyed chatting with all of you. You'll all be beautiful brides!!!

I am so sorry this happened to you, but I have no doubt that you will be OK! You clearly have a healthy attitude about this. You deserve someone who is happy with you and enjoys all that you have to offer.

I'm sorry to hear about your situation Tania. I can totally relate because that's what happened in my first marriage - he told me he hadn't been happy in years. Of course, by the time it got to that point, nothing could be done. You sound like you have a good head on your shoulders and you know that this is for the best, even if it makes you very sad for now. Don't make any rash decisions about moving out of state or leaving your job or your friends. Let it all sink in, maybe vacation in FL with your family and take a little time to figure out your next move. Someone better is waiting in your future and you will have the happy, honest relationship you deserve.

It's really good to figure it out now, move on, live for YOU and eventually find what you deserve, someone who you'll never be suspicious about, who'll be excited to get married and love you always.
