Hi girls, I am getting married at the Woodlands and am wondering if anyone has any more info/ideas/advice.
I did a search and read through most of the posts... It seems like this place is not as popular as some other halls.
Any rants/raves?
TIA

Re: The Woodlands
My review is posted on the Brides Review Board. I got married there in November and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the Woodlands. It is defintiely not as 'popular' as other halls, but was fabulous!
Please FM me any questions. Who is your Banquet Manager?

Re: The Woodlands
I'm getting married at The Woodlands also. I think one of the reasons we don't see too much posted about it on LIW or the knot is because it is such a new place. It's been open less than 2 years and a lot of people haven't heard about it.
Anyone I know who's been to a wedding there has raved, raved, raved about it. I have not heard one negative review. I am soooooo excited to get married there and to hear feedback from those who have their weddings there before me

I agree. The Woodlands is definitely a new venue, but I loved it the minute we saw it and I'm so excited to have our wedding there.
Of the reviews that I've read on LIW and The Knot, they are all glowing reviews.

Re: The Woodlands
I went to a wedding there last month and it was great. The food was really good and there was plenty of it!!! The atmosphere was great too.

Re: The Woodlands
From the pictures, the place looks gorgeous. Their minimum is 125 on a Friday and Sunday, not sure about Saturday. I think they are in the $110-145 price range.

FYI, you're wedding date says 7/2/2012...
I'm not sure when we're doing the tasting, but maybe I'll go to Passion Fish with my FI this weekend to finally taste their food.

I think as of Jan 1, their prices and minimums have increased.

Re: The Woodlands
I did hear their prices are going up probably b/c they are becoming more known.
Sorry about the date thing - I got paranoid after reading MJDoc's post yesterday... (But I am an 06 bride)

Re: The Woodlands
I was in a wedding there last year and it was lovely. A friend was just there for a wedding this NYE and said it was great - I've never heard bad things!

I was a little paranoid too and thought about changing our real names. But instead I'll just try to be careful not to write something that might come back to haunt me.
