Ohh...I booked over a year ago and never heard this. I also don't think I'm using 4 of their vendors, so I guess I'm not missing out.

Edited: Oh woops...I thought it was 4 vendors. Let me know how many you need for this points thing lol

It's 3 points per house vendor you book and you need to equal 10 points. Now i am nervous because its not in our contract or anything, we just have a card with the info.

I'll let everyone know if i hear back from them about it...i emailed them

Ok Gabby just called me...here's the deal... it's a new thing so anyone who booked last year wouldn't have known about it.

For every house vendor you use, you get 3 points. When you have 10 or more, you get an extra add on and can choose from one of the following:

- Ice cream and flambé bar
- monogrammed martini bar
- margarita bar
- passed assorted sushi rolls
- 4 passed desserts (cake pops, mini ice cream cones, mini milkshakes, etc)
- passed baby lamb chops

I'm super psyched about this! Thanks for mentioning it...i think we're going to go with the ice cream and flambe bar or passed sushi rolls

what the heck they answered you so fast! I emailed Lana this morning (730am) and still no response!!!!!!!!!!! we are undecided between the 4 passed desserts and flambe bar.. I was hoping some previous brides could give us insight?

Yeah Gabby is awesome... i'm not sure who she is or what she does there but she's always so helpful and quick to respond. I work with Debi but i haven't heard from her once since we booked. If it weren't for Gabby i'd be upset.

I work with Debi also. She has always answered my emails in a timely manner (I much prefer emailing to have things in writing). I'm annoyed that we weren't notified about this point system, especially since I was debating between a Woodlands vendor for photobooth and another LIW vendor. I chose the LIW bc it was slightly cheaper. If I knew I could get some kind of upgrade I may have booked the Woodlands vendor instead.

I prefer the same. It just so happened that gabby had written me once for a payment and i've been emailing with her ever since. I cc'd Debi on some of the emails but she let Gabby write back i guess.

I don't blame you, and i would be upset to if i hadn't just booked 4 of the house vendors by choice. Maybe talk to them about it.. if you're close with the points and explain what you just said to us maybe they'll give it to you anyway.

What house vendors are you girls using? I am trying to think about who I booked and I think I only have one house vendor :( ...no upgrades for me.

Pedestals Florist, Lancelot Limos, Hank Lane Music and Hilton Garden Inn.

I booked a year and a half ago...I didn't know about this point system...I booked pedestals, Camelot, and Hilton garden inn...I guess I'm one point short of an upgrade! Damn! About the tasting...I'm going to the may 1st tasting...anyone else going to that??

Ladies that booked last year if you're one point shy does anyone think we can finagle exceptions? Honestly it's tough to believe they'd be that strict about it? All of my vendors were booked in two months!
