Me too. DH has tried to break me from it, but now I just do it to piss him off.

Re: The word is DRAWER not DRAW
If you live or work in the city then no doubt you've seen the Rafiqi food carts.. My pals at work refer to this guy as 'the 'drawer' of meat' (or 'draw' of meat, depending on where you're from).
Don't ask where they keep their meat.....

Re: The word is DRAWER not DRAW
I go crazy when people say liberry instead of library and idear instead of idea. I am going back to school for English and mispronunciation are really starting to irk me more and more.

Re: The word is DRAWER not DRAW
First, i say DRAW - it wasn't til I got to college that somebody pointed out there was an E-R on the end of it! Well, I stick to my roots and refuse to pronounce it correctly....it's a Draw in my mind....hehe.
BUT - the word that bugs me the most is when people say 'Brefix' instead of Breakfast. I hear it all the time and it drives me nuts!!

Debris is pronounced Duh-Bree not Duh-Breeze!
One piece of debris or two buckets of debris... it's always duh-bree!

Re: The word is DRAWER not DRAW
For me.. I don't really mind when people say things 'wrong'.. I kinda chalk it up to local dialect. I mean when a Bostonian says 'Caaaaahh' I figure they know it is spelled Car.. they just speak in a certain manner.
BUT.. spelling? That's a different thing altogether. It bugs me a bit when people get their homonym's mixed up. For example 'I Here Singing'. or 'Wear are you?' . It actually only really starts to bug me when i notice that the person does it all the time to the same word. Mostly it bugs me because I would feel bad CORRECTING them... but I really want to.
