It really bugs me when people toss their cigarette butts out of their car windows .. not just because it's garbage .. but also because it can be very dangerous ..
HOWEVER ..
tonight really ticked me off when at a stop sign, the person driving in front of me decided it was the perfect opportunity to empty their ashtray out on the road.

Grosses me out too! You should see my mother's car. There are ashes EVERYWHERE and when she drive with the windows open they fly around the car! I can't ever ride in her car.

yuck! there are cigarette butts all over the breezeway of my apartment... Smoke if you want, but at least throw them away

its a HUGE pet peeve of mine - particularly since I drive a convertible and don't want their butts in my car. I just don't understand why smokers think its OK to litter.
But this is the worst - the other night Al and I were walking to the store and someone threw their lit butt out the window of their truck and it hit AL!

I once read a story where a disgarded cigarette butt lit a mattress on fire that was tied to the roof of a car .. that's why I said not only is it tossing garbage .. but it's dangerous .. as in Al's case, and the mattress story.
