Tonight my FBIL's best friend of 25 years died. He was trying to get into his apartment but was locked out. My FBIL and him shared the apartment, and he apparently got locked out and tried to slide out a window in the hallway and into a window in the apartment. He fell five stories and died. He was 30 years old and engaged for the past 6 months. He was supposed to get married at Martha Clara Vineyard the Saturday after my wedding.

I am so devastated. My FBIL considered him like a brother. I am so worried about him.

Even worse, all I can think of is that life is not fair - it could happen to any of us.

Be sure you say I love you to your FH tonight....

I saw this on the news...sorry for your FBIL's loss. He's in my prayers along nwith the family of his friend.

omg, I'm so sorry. I actually saw this is in the paper this morning and thought to myself what an awful accident, and to someone so young....and now to attach a personal aspect to it. It's so tragic and I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so SORRY, I will PRAY, FOR EVERYONE INVOLVED, my heart is just breaking over this sad, sad news, i will say a special prayer for your fbil, i can not imagine how he feels, even worse his fw I will say lots of prayers for her I cant even imagine what she must be going through.
