I am very excited. I think I FINALLY figured out the theme for our wedding.

Theme - Long Island Weddings

WELL I am thinking of making our theme NYC. We have a lot of out of town guests from PA, WI and Germany. Also my fathers family is from upstate NY and have NEVER been in the city. We are prob having a caricature artist with German music and folk dancing to give it that different culture aspect. The FH is going to make place holders out of metal with the NYC skyline and with our cocktail hour we are going to have so many different options that we are going to have a few different 'nationality' of stations to represent all the different sort of food you can get in the city.

Theme - Long Island Weddings

Very cool theme! I went to a NYC-themed wedding in Times Square (lol) a few years ago. Each table was named for a different neighborhood (Financial District, Chinatown, etc.). It was great!

Love the idea! I mentioned it to FH when we first started looking and venues and he shot down the idea pretty quickly, he hates the city lol...I love the idea though! I don't think it will look cheesy at all
