Themed Stamps

Themed Stamps

Did anyone order special stamps that are wedding themed or is it not as big of a deal as I'm thinking... I know it's a nice touch but do you girls think the added expense is worth it?

Thats a great idea! Where do you order them from?

honestly with all the $ we're all spending n everything, I think the themed stamps are a waste. No one looks at them and I mean NO ONE.

They have pretty purple flowers out now. Another bride posted them a few weeks back.

i paid the same amount for wedding ring stamps (44 cents) and 61 cent cake stamps for my invites.. not sure if this is what you are referring to?

I know my gf had personalized stamps made, they are definitely cute but to be honest i don't think most people will notice and that it's not really worth the extra $$$. But if you want I can find out where she got them done. HTH

you can just get the cake or rings stamps from the post office - they're the same price as the other stamps.

personalized stamps are not worth the money, IMO - people usually don't even notice them.

we used customized stamps for our STD's, and a lot of our guests noticed it and complimented us on them.

so in my opinion, if it's in your budget, do it!

Agreed. I wouldn't buy anything just yet though, since you won't be mailing out your invites until next year, just in case of a postage increase!

IMO, it's a wasted expense. I love the look of the personalized stamps on zazzle.com but they are DOUBLE the cost of a regular stamp!

yeah... i couldnt bring myself to spend the money on custom stamps, same as spending a lot for the invites... they are going in the trash as soon as they're opened... no point in spending 2 or 3x the normal amount

I can't see spending the extra money.
On USPS.com I found stamps that had 2 wedding bands interlocked and they were the same price as regular stamps you may want to take a look at those.

i personally don't think it's worth the extra money, but i personally didn't budget for it - it's totally up to you though. i do think it's cute when people do it

Re: Themed Stamps

Ours were 61 cents to send so we used the 61 cent wedding cake stamp,, and used the 44 cent rings stamp for the RSVPs. Perfect!

they are cute, but everything will throw out ur card at the end, and some will NOT notice, and some will not care, having already been married...dont bother with the added expense, unless you really have a lot of $ leftover to splurge....good luck with wedding planning

extra money for the honeymoon would be ideal lol
