On top of that, I am hoping to have a fruity signature drink.
So what are you all doing to incorporate your thse into your wedding.

I am not very good at this but I have been asking Flacataca for help because she has been able to incorporate her theme well. Good Luck!

Then having pictures around of us in those season as we grew up and sated
Our Bridal party dance will be a love for all seasons As people walk into the ballroom the band will be playing walking ina winter wonderland- my favorite winter song
I am doing a drink for each season - still have to figure out a good one for each
I am not mentioning the them on the invitation - that will be classic because that is for the church and thta will be raditional - i am just going to have fun with the theme at the reception hall

Re: Themes
Not so original for a winery wedding...my VINEYARD theme!!!
Basically, I am having a small emblem of a cluster of watercolor grapes designed as the wedding insignia. It will appear on all correspondance with the guest prior to the wedding, and then on placecards, program, etc.
Giving them wine in the welcome basket.
Organizing a tasting tour the day before wedding.
And having some sort of Champagne grape cluster cascade down my cupcake cake.
Everyone is going to be wasted the whole weekend.
Awesome!

Re: Themes
Snowflakes is kinda our theme - unofficially.
Invites have snowflakes in the boarder.
Favors are a snowflake ornament.
I'm tring to figure out how to have snowflakes on the place cards.
My theory is (after it has snowed, a lot, the first weekend in December for each of the past 3 years) the more snowflakes I incorporate into our wedding day, the more I can ward off the real snow.
Any suggestions to add to this theme greatly appreciated.
Love that 4 seasons theme!!!!!

VINEYARD here too....no bottles of wine because they can have all they want at the vineyards, but we got candles like bottles of wine for the welcom bags. Vineyard invites, vineyard bags, CHAMPAGNE GRAPES on our cake, I am wearing pink (like a rose, doncha think??), and winey songs....grape clusters to decorate....that's about it.

Re: Themes
Im having a disney themed wedding. But just hints of it. So far we have one of those customized plush dolls with wedding mickey and minnie. It has our names on the wedding certificate they are holding. Really cute!! We will probably have that on our sweetheart table. Another friend was in Disney recently and picked us up these adorable and very stylish wedding mickey and minnie bobble heads that magnetically kiss and hold hands. Im hoping to have them displayed at the sign in table. And Im hoping to surprise my FI with a mickey and minnie ice sculpture. I really dont want to go overboard though.
BTW - I LOVE your fruit idea. Are you giving out fruit as you favors. I remember someone mentioning that, and I thought it was a great idea!!!

Halloween theme for me.
BMs are in black with orange flowers.
Favors are pumpkin votives and candy corn.
We're being introduced to Thriller.
Mini Pumpkins throughout the CPs and on the tables.
RD is a costume party.
I think that's it. There are a few of us doing this.
ETA: Monster names for the tables -- how could I forget!?!?

Re: Themes
We're doing a Venetian masked ball theme:
--Scroll invitations
--The program will be printed as a mock 'Venetian Times' newspaper
--Lute player & fortuneteller at the CH
--Table names are the names of Venice canals
--Lots of feathers instead of flowers (i.e. feather centerpieces)
--We're giving out masks as favors.
I've never been to a theme wedding. I hope we all know what we're doing! Everyone's themes sound like fun to me.

Re: Themes
We sort of did a literary theme
Our STD was a crossword puzzle Tables were named after our favorite books Placecards were in the shape of books, with fonts to match 'style' of table's books We used hardcover books in lieu of table cards (people took them home, which was great) We had our calligrapher write out a number of literary quotations on love and marriage that we framed and had displayed at the reception hall One of our favors was a bookmark

Exellent themes ladies! This is is a fun thread.
We're doing nautical - using a compass as a motif on invites and programs - making escot cards shaped like sailboats - putting seashells on our cake - using periwinkle and pale green hues for flowers - giving away favors that look like messages in a bottle.

I am ordering fake snow to throw instead of rice at the church. It si called scatterflake and looks good. The company sent me samples of scatterflake and iris flake. The iris flake was too much like glitter, the scatterflake was like paper, easy to shake off once it is thrown on you!
