Then Til Now DJ...Good or Bad??

I am having second thoughts on the DJ I boodked...Then Til Now. Has anyone used them or been to a reception with them? Are they good?

Hi. I used them for my wedding in May. No one had ever heard of them on this board, I don't think. We had seen them at a showcase at Manor East and we liked Steve. So, we booked him. Well to make a long story short, I was not crazy about him. They did an ok job at my wedding. My guests all said they were good, but I don't remember being overly impressed. I wish I could say otherwise, but on the other hand, I wouldn't say they stunk and they did not play any songs I asked them not to. They did leave out some songs I really wanted but he told me that might happen due to the mood of the crowd, etc. etc. Good luck. Let me know what you decide to do.

Denise...Thank you so much for the info. 2 people in my mom's office used them for different things and reccomended them, but they don't have the same tastes as me. I don't live on LI anymore and was getting frustrated looking. I booked him mainly b/c he was affordable, but it may be worth it for me to take the $200 hit and look for another DJ. I appreciate your candid answer. I am really thinking of going with another company. I'll let you know what I decide.

Hi. I wanted to let you know that I picked up my video last night and while I was watching it, I realized what a good job Steve did. I am sorry, but I guess that day was such a whirldwind I didn't remember too much. Anyway, he did a good job now that I see my wedding from a different perspective. How about going to see him at a showcase, call him adn ask where he is playing next. Reconsider him, ok.
