i just g9ot a quote back for $3400 a person this is wonderful... intercontinental..beachcomber resort anyone know anything about this???

I never heard of it and am somewhat annoyed that none of the 10 travel agents I consulted mentioned it to me (if it is true that is)!!!!

jill, check out www.islandsinthesun.com or tahitilegends.com see if you like some of their packages. that's how I booked mine. i used in and out travel since they have a tahitian specialist.

i have been researhing on the internet and got quite a few quotes back (during a peak time we are going) also i just got a call from a family friend (who is a travel agent) and it is not AS expensive as i thought!!!! we are looking into about 9 nights more if we can

hmm that doesn't make sense. Yes, there is a Club Med .. but Intercontinental Beachcomber is a separate chain and the two are not related.

yea club meds are usually offset away from other chains, and intercontinental is its own identity not a club med. Maybe she meant its on that part of the island near the beachcomber? and thats cheap too cool!!!

the quote i got is for 1 night Tahiti (at the beach comber resort) because you have to fly into tahiti and 8 nights at club med club med includes EVERYTHING...but i am wondering if club medd is not nice???
the only down fall is that we can only stay in tahiti 1 night...the rest have to be in Bora Bora but if we do club med we will do longer than 9 nights!!!

I heard tahiti is not nice so thats ok now bora bora I heard is absolutely beautiful!!! club meds are usually nice, the rooms are standard but call maybe they have upgraded rooms for couples/honeymooners, yes club med is now all inclusive like a regular all inclusive resort, none of that buying beads for drinks anymore!! its a great deal!!!
