There's been a lot of negativity on the boards lately...

whether it's been going on in your personal life, family life, work, life, or wedding planning life...

I just wanted to make sure that we all know in the end, on the big day, nothing will matter more than being met by your HUSBAND and starting a new chapter of your life together.

Don't let those FMIL, FSIL, Mom's, BM's, MOH, vendors etc get to you. You'll be beautiful, everything will be perfect, and it'll fly by in a blink of an eye.

Just wanted to say that ladies!

Great Post! I can't stand the negativity. It just brings you down. This is a happy, yet often stressful time for most of us, but it is what you make it.
Why people stress so much about so little is beyond me. Enjoy it! Although we want it over, it really is over before you know it.

Yup I'll admit I've been stressing, but not as much as it seems. Even though 2 members of my BP are driving me nuts, I'll get through it with or without them. And FH has been by my side through every mistake, through every annoyance, and has always taken my side. Everytime he has done this, I am reminded of why I am marrying him.

I am taking measures to rectify the stupid stresses, but nothing is going to get in the way of me marrying the love of my life!!!

Thanks for posting this Christine. Very well said. My new philosophy is that nothing is going to get me down. We are determined to enjoy our day and ignore all the 'little things' that are inevitably going to go wrong or any of the drama that people might cause.

This thread got me thinking. Though my wedding is history, perhaps the up coming brides can give away vials of Prozac and Xanax to keep them (the guests) happy and quiet. It may be expensive, and probably, (NO DEFINITELY) illegal, but hey, you are gambling women arent ya?

Thank you for posting this, the past week has been really a downer for me realizing many of my 'friends' aren't going to be there for my shower/bp, but as you (& FH & some other girls have said) all that truly matters is you & him becoming a family and nothing else can take away from that.

good call..some days the negative BS from other people makes me wanna call the whole thing off just so i don't have to deal with it...but in the end, we're the ones riding off into the sunset with our prince. (sorry, not trying to sound all fairy tale..but that is how i see it)

Leslie, I couldn't agree with you more My mother likes to joke that Prozac/ Xanax should be in the water!
