Quick question for those of you who mailed your invites: I told them I wanted to them hand-cancelled. They were already stamped and ready to go. I had them all in a box, just handed them the box and they told me they would hand cancel it. I asked them twice.
Did you watch them hand cancel it or did they just say they would do it? I'm nervous they'll put them through the machine and mess them up!!
UPDATE: my mom and my aunt got their invites this afternoon (so quick!!!) and they said they were in perfect condition!!!

Re: There's no turning back now-
I actually hand canceled them myself, but when FH took the b-list invites to be mailed I think he just left them there and there were no problems.

Re: There's no turning back now-
I actually was able to hand cancel them myself. They guy wanted to do it but when I told him I had 175 and I didnt mind doing it myself., he agreeed. My friend didnt even know what hand canceling was and hers were hand canceled. I feel like if the PO knows its a invitation they might just do it. I wouldnt worry

Re: There's no turning back now-
The lady at the Merrick post office told me she would hand cancel them and not to worry but I insisted I did it and she let me.
I am sure she would have done it but it was so busy and she was the only one there and I didn't know when she would get around to it. I am sure it is fine!! I mailed them out today too YAY!!
