They cant get it

So they called me back and said they can get a dress in a different size and that it will arrive Feb 25th, wellmy party is the 24th. I spoke to the lady and shes telling me oh open up the back and make it backless all with lace it will make it sexier WHY WOULD I DO THAT!!!!, i yelled at her, i am like listen i am not trying to get it to be sexier the problem is that i am falling out all over on top and its too small thats the last thing i want, i need to cover up.

So she said to go to their seamstress that she does amazing work and has done things like this many times, so i said well if i fix it and dont like it then i am screwed bc i will be stuck with the dress...But i guess ill go talk to her and see what ideas she has, maybe she can fix it...i have used her before and she did to a great job.

Ok sorry just had to vent, this is sooo frustrating...SEE this is why its good to order a dress FAR in advance, so you will have time to fix anything wrong bc you never know

if they have a great seamstress i wouldnt stress too much about it - in my opinion i would change the back before i changed the front if at all possible!

Well the lady was saying to go completely backless which that i wont do...FH said maybe she can open up the back to give me more room but not sure since its triangle like style in front, the front part still wont fit me, but yeah maybe the seamstress can figure it out, i was thinking of putting a little bit more of the blue fabric in front to cover up some cleavage lol

Well i have to go there regardless so i can see if i find another dress i like more, its hard when you have your heart set on a particular thing lol but you never know

I would be weary if she is telling you they have a great seamstress...they arent going to say that they might be able to do it well, they dont want you to return a dress and go elsewhere so they loose money. Try to have your dress rushed if at all possible. Good luck!

No she actually is GREAT, i have used their seamstress before and she does amazing work. Plus they dont give you cash back only store credit so they wouldn't lose out.

Yeah i spoke to the owner this morning and hes the one who called me for me, when i called back the second time he had left already. So ill try to call again later to see if hes there

I bought about three different dresses for my eparty because I kept finding ones I liked better! I'm sure you will find something else, and if not, I'm sure they can fix it just the way you want, a good seamstress is like a miracle worker. For my eparty, the zipper split as I was putting it on, luckily my FMIL knew a seamstress, we went to her house, she ripped the whole dress apart and put it back together for me in like a half hour, I just made it to the party, she saved the day !!!

Denise...maybe there is some excess fabric in the front that they can let out from the seams. I'm sure it will turn out okay.
