The whippet featured at the Westminster Dog Show this week got out of her cage at JFK and ran away. There was a search team and they called it off today. They believe she ran to the marches by JFK and that is bad for her. I have an Italian Greyhound (cousin of the whippet) and they have little hair and no meat to keep them warm. They are extremely sensitive to the cold.
THEY HAVE TO KEEP LOOKING AND FIND HER!!!
I just got the call that my dress is in and i was so excited and now Im too sad about this to be excited anymore. I hope shes not hurt, scared, hungry

They are. They live in California but are staying in NY til the dog is found. I think i would lose my mind if Luca ran away and i couldnt find him. Nothing would comfort me. I cant imagine how sad they are. I wanna help so bad and i want them to find her so bad!!!

OMG you sound like me. Im itching o get out of school and drive to JFK and look all over for her. My dad works at that airpt. and i wanna call him and tell him to look for her. Where can she be????
They say after a day or 2, the dog will go into hiding bc survival will take over. The owners are hoping she will run towards people.
Oh that poor baby. I cant stop thinking about it. I wish i didnt know
