Reluctantly.

Was dehydrated and had two ivs. Had a scat scan and my small intestine is basically swollen shut below my stomach. Im on fluids and lots of meds.

6 hrs later...geez

I hope you feel better! Fh has a ton of GI issues (long story short he no longer has a colon) mather is a great hospital, and around the corner from my house so I can bring you wedding mags! Xoxo

OMG, just read this! So sorry you are sick! I'm surprised they didn't admit you. If you're obstructed they usually admit, decompress the stomach, and give meds and wait. This way they can give you hydration, or even TPN if needed. I hope the swelling goes down! Don't want to see you get more ill!!!

The er dr wanted to keep me but the gastro on call said to give me anti nausea meds and if i could keep fluids down i could go home. Im surprised too.

I still cant eat and i keep forgetting to drink the pedialyte. And the antinausea med is no joke. I feel high! Lol

Its not really obstructed just inflammed. Im learning all sorts of new stuff like what an ilium is lol
