DH parked at the Hicksville train station yesterday and apparently it was tenant parking and a tow away zone. The signage is extremely poor. Police said it's a racket...
I'm so pissed off!!!!
Got the car back, it's fine and everything is in it. Whew!!
Still pissed off. I think they are going to regret towing my car..

yeah the are really crakcing down over there. my mother lives a few blocks away from the station and people just park all over regardless of signs...due to people parking illegally last year i got into a relly bad car accident right by the train station. the police dept from what i know have been trying to make the signage a little clearer...or at least thats what they told me in a letter. im not saying that its your fault the why they post things over there does suck. my dad works for a towing company and the tow at least 25 cars a day from there because they are parked ''illegally'', so the town says. if i was you i would right a letter to the town.

It was a private parking lot apparently. I think the address is 99 Jerusalem or Duffy. The sign as crappy as it is says tenant parking only, towed at owners expense. It faces the taxi stand there. You would never know it's a private parking lot.
