They're BAAAAACK !!!!

Game seven tonite!

Told you the yanks were doomed yesterday since I got stuck at the airport. I didn't get home from Chicago till late... and I walked in to my apartment right before the notorious A-Rod play.

And not to start a huge debate... but those Yank fans that littered the field were just CLASSLESS.

And believe... it takes one to know one.

I am glad the yankees lost. It makes for an exciting game 7

it wasnt as bad as it was on TV. I mean there was 55,000 + and a select few chose to do that... the rest of us booed, boozed, and yelled..... it was classless but for only a select few...

Dammm... this will definitely be an interesting game.

I just found out that Boston is going to start Derek Lowe on TWO days rest. They decided to not start Tim Wakefield.

This is going to be VERY interesting. I wonder if that has ever been done (a pitcher start a playoff game on TWO days rest).

This pretty much means Lowe won't see more than five innings tops. Which also means you will most likely see Wakefield at some point in relief... and you may even see PEDRO in relief tonight.

Talk about drama!

Lowe on 2 days rest? That seems like a very strange move. But I guess since he use to be a closer he can handle it?

I think it's going to be a slugfest tonight for both teams. The Yankees are pitching Brown on 3 days rest and his back has to be bothering him in this cold weather.

I wish I could have a drink tonight because I think I'm going to need one.

I don't agree with the Lowe move. I think Wakefield would have been a good gamble. He throws that knucke-crap... and if his knuckler is on... he aint getting hit.

Would have been a nice contrast next to the heat that they saw yesterday with Schilling.


But I think they are starting Lowe cause he is more of a 'gutsy' player that can handle the pressure and pitch on pure adrenaline... regardless of how tired he is.

Lets see what happens.

Tell me about it. I don't particularily care for either team... yet I will need a few drinks for this one.

Maybe ill head down to First Edition to catch the game tonite with the FW.

I agree that starting Lowe seems like a bad move. But then again I didn't think Schilling was going to be a strong as he was last night. So far, the last 3 games the Sox have done everything right and we haven't.

It make me extremely unhappy that it came down to a Game 7 and we're forced to pitch Kevin Brown ...who I doubt is going to get us far. I can imagine both teams will be bringing in anyone and everyone who is able to pitch as the game wears on

We need to hit - period. The Bronx Bombers have been far from it the last 3 games. We cannot leave so many runners on base. Jeter has to wake up and start being patient at the plate so he can get ON BASE (what a lead off hitter NEEDS TO DO!).

We cannot make stupid mistakes in the infield.

Pitch around Ortiz at all costs.

I am lighting a candle on the way home

I invited my FW to head over to First Edition tonight to watch the game. Every time I was home for a full game... they won.

I didn't even eat lunch today... expecting to get a nice meal somewhere.

nope -- there are other shows on my schedule tonight

I don't have a problem with chanting profanities... mainly cause I do it all the time.

But there is no place in baseball to be throwing things onto the field because you are in digust.
