so what's the deal? are you wearing them? Do you feel you HAVE to? My MOH is telling me that I aposolutely HAVE to wear them. The only problem I am having is that I am wearing sandals so I wanted to get open-toe stockings. What do you think?
Is everyone wearing white? or nude?

I'm thinking of wearing a garter belt and stockings. Probably nude stockings.

Re: thigh-highs...
I wore thigh highs and it made it alot easier when I went to the bathroom (and I only went twice the entire time that the dress was on!)
I didn't want to deal with having to pull up my stockings!
I wore the Victoria's Secret thigh highs that have the rubber at the top so that I didn't have to wear the garter belt....

Re: thigh-highs...
do the thigh highs actually stay up? I would hate for me to walk around feeling like I have to keep pulling them up

Re: thigh-highs...
They really did stay up!!!! I swear.... They had the rubber stuff on the inside - They were from Victoria's Secret and were called something like Lacy Thigh Highs ..

Re: thigh-highs...
It really depends on the person, and the size/shape of the thigh
They tend to stay up, but you might want to experiment with them once or twice before hand. I think I am going to use regular old fashioned garter belt and stockings.

Re: thigh-highs...
I am getting married in July and hopefully taking pics outside so I am not wearing any, but my cousin wore Victoria Secrets thigh highs last year she loved them, the only thing is you have to be careful because there is some kind of (glue) stuff that keeps them up and it can cause a rash if not careful..

MISHY...Do you know of anything you can do to prevent the rash?(wedding is in AUG). Are they comfortable for people who have NEVER worn thigh highs ???

Re: thigh-highs...
First of all you wear what you like.
Secondly, I am definately wearing thigh highs. Silk Reflections by Hanes makes a nice one. The color I used to wear of summer (back in the days of suits) was travel buff, and I will probably wear it again - is not nude, its not white - its somewhere in between
Adding - yes they will feel weird at first, but if you have any function at all try them there before hand.

Re: thigh-highs...
I just bought a pair last week for my wedding and another pair to wear to a wedding this weekend. I figured it would be a good idea to try them out before the wedding...I am so glad I did b/c I HATED them. I put them on while I was getting ready and took them off within 5 minutes and decided to wear no stockings (it was okay b/c I was in Florida). They just did not feel comfortable at all. They were really digging into my thighs. So, I would definitely suggest trying them before your wedding.

I used to always wear thigh-highs... i plan on wearing them, but I think I'm going to buy a few pairs just to see which ones stay up better.

Re: thigh-highs...
If you are getting married in the summer and wearing open toe shoes, thigh highs are not necessary , right.
