Anyone going to wear them under the dress? Which brand are you getting? There are some pretty ones in VC, but I am reluctant to buy anything from there because the quality of their undergarments always disappoints me! Any recommendations?

Re: Thigh-Highs
I'm seriously considering it, as I don't want to struggle w/ pantyhose that day should I have to use the facilities. The dress alone will be enough to wrestle with!
I was thinking of Victoria's Secret. May I ask what VC is?

VS I got, but she has VC - a typo maybe?
VS has bad quality stuff? That's what I was planning on using. OH NO!

Re: Thigh-Highs
I have used VS's thigh highs and they do work. Surprised you haven't had a good experience with their undergarments. Mine have lasted a while. Well if your talking about VS.

Re: Thigh-Highs
I have several pairs of thigh highs from VS and they work well, but I am not sure that they are meant to stay on for too long

Re: Thigh-Highs
i LOVE LOVE LOVE thigh hi's & HATE paantyhose, however I am wearing hose on my day, I don't want to have to worry about adjusting them if they move a little. Hanes really stay put but with all the moving & dancing and my crinoline, I don't want to be bothered if I have to adjust them at all

Re: Thigh-Highs
Mine is from Frederick's of Hollywood, and so far I am very happy with the corset. I tried it few days ago and it feels great!

Re: Thigh-Highs
WhatNow...i have such a funny story re: the use of VS thigh highs: i was so sick of wearing stockings to work every day because they squeeze your stomach so much...so i decided i would start wearing the thigh highs instead (the ones that have that adhesive stuff on the top to supposedly stay on)...well i was battling with them ALL DAY...i finally thought i got it right and then i was walking to get lunch and some man tapped me on the shoulder and said 'excuse me miss...you have something around your leg' it was the stupid thigh high!!! I was mortified

LOL! THat is very funny! Now, not while it's actually happening to you! I have a feeling that no matter which brand they all end up being 'something around your leg' in a couple of hours!

Re: Thigh-Highs
I wore them back in the day for my prom. I totally recommend getting them. I got them from VS and they were awesome. Didn't feel like you had anything on and no hassel of panthose drooping down to your knees all night long. I will be wearing them again for my wedding to come. Try it out!

Re: Thigh-Highs
I love thigh-highs also but, I have the same problem it seems I have to adjust them or they start to grow on me, so I'm going to wear pantyhose.

Re: Thigh-Highs
This post made me laugh becuase I was discussing this with my sister the other night. I hate having constricting things on my tummy so I am not a panty hose girl. I will be wearing thigh highs at the wedding all the way!
I wear VS thigh highs and pantyhose ( when I have to) all the time. I find them comfortable. I am sure you will find something you are happy with.

Re: Thigh-Highs
I totally thought I was going to wear thigh highs, to be different than everyday life, and to not have to hassle pulling up stockings in the bathroom. I don't think I am fat fat, I am 5'6' and was about 145 when I got married. I put on the thigh highs two days before the wedding and was traumatized by the look of my thighs! the fat was coming over the top of the thigh highs, it looked terrible (like I said, I really don't hink I'm fat, just not toned, you know) and the part that was spilling over was rubbing together, it was horrific! So, just try them on in advance and be sure you like them! (if i would have had time, I would have looked into a garter and thigh highs without that tight elastic, but it was too late!!) good luck!
