I recently ordered my veil from barrons with a thin satin edge. I have been debating on changing it to a thicker satin edge like the one in this picture. My dress is very similar to the one this girl is wearing if that helps.
Do you have a pic of what the thin looks like to kind of compare? That looks very nice, but I may chance my mind once I see the thin one...lol

Re: THIN or THICK satin edge veil???
i like thin with any dress. I think think edges distract people from the dress (well, it distracts me at least)

Re: THIN or THICK satin edge veil???
I had mine custom made which seems like Barrons is doing for you. Why not see if you can have thin surrounding your face and about towards your hips (they will know when to make it thicker) and then get thicker gradually. It is very pretty and a trend many of the veil trims are going towards. I had a lace trim that was thin at the top and then got thicker towards the bottom. I didnt want too much weight surrounding my face and taking away from it. This was a cathedral length veil though so I am uncertain as to the length of yours. Give it a consideration!

ITA i think a thin edge is more delicate and keeps the attention on the dress

although the thick looks really nice in the picture, it's just 1 picture and 1 angle and things look different in photographs. i'd go with the thinner. i always find the thicker satin to look way too heavy.

They are both beautiful but I prefer the thin edge.
