Things are coming together! Had my first fitting!

I posted a few weeks ago that FH & I decided to move our wedding from May 2002 to This coming December 22 (due to his father's condition... and now his Aunt's - but that's a separate issue). IT's amazing how much you can do in 3 weeks!! Since then, we've ordered invitations AND sent them out & are receiving replies as we speak... We've also chosen our linnens, menu, BM dresses, Tuxes (although that's still pending), finalized flowers with Spitz & Peck. AND... I had my first fitting last night!! I LOVE my gown. Bridal Reflections was sooo accomodating. The gown wasn't supposed to be in until March/April for my May wedding, but as soon as we changed the date, they said they'd have it in 3 weeks at no extra charge - and they did!! Now we're down to the little fun things like designing the program, doing seating charts, placecards, etc. (And hoping my BM's ordered their Nicole Miller gowns!!) I'm having so much fun and it's a nice diversion from the other crap that is happening around us and our family (and the world for that matter). I only wish that this post was able to be broken up into several different exciting posts like all of yours!! But I can't complain :-) Anyway- that's my news for the day. Happy planning everyone! ~S
