Things are looking up!

So on Monday, FIL told us that DH's car was NOT safe for the road and that we shouldn't drive it - anywhere, ever again.

Tuesday, I get into an accident and my bumper is hanging off.

So Saturday we went and bought THIS:



its a Jeep Compass

It is really DH's car. It looks a little girlie in the picture but its really nice in person and he loves it!

Then today we go to get my car fixed and they said to fix it would cost more than the value of the car!! ( less than $1000 ) SO I am getting $1000 and DH is just going to use some bubble gum or something to hold the bumper on. Once we pay off his new car I am going to get my Ford Focus that I have been dreaming of!

I was so sad they said my car wasnt worth fixing. Sure, its a 94 Ford Escort but I have had it for EIGHT years - its my first car ever. . . LOL it hurt!!!

Niiiiiccceeeee looking car!

I'm on a new car kick, but don't want a car payment. I have a 2002 that was brand new when I got it and has 117,000 miles on it

FH and I are both itching for new cards, but we really like not having a payment more than we want a new car (although it's pretty darn close)
