PHEW!! - I have a total of 10 kids coming to our wedding ages 4-18...I have been shopping for months and decided to do an individual grab bag for each of them, naturally no toys that would provoke them to run, jump, etc....I filled the bags with dolls, puzzles, card games, pens, crayons, books to read, writing tablets, silly putty, lip gloss, racing cars, etc. I doubt if they can go thru everything...I made sure each of the bags are personalized with their names in big pretty crayola like type letters and colors, the bags are wedding white with a swirl design on them they look like raw silk, - Michael's Crafts, the 99 cents stores, and ToysRUs are good finds for small inexpensive items...good luck...since we will have space at the rear of our ballroom I will have a floor type game they can play like the large piano key board they can step on, bowling games, board games, I have some aunts who volunteered to supervise once the reception gets underway...good luck

I bought extra table cameras for my 6 year old son, it kept him busy - and he had such a good time snapping away!!!! So what if the pictures didn't come out that great, he had a blast and felt like he was doing a 'job'!!!

I've got 25 kids coming! Ranging from 4 to 18, most under 11. They are actually pretty well behaved- most are on my FH's side, and they always go to big parties. The kiddie bag idea is fantastic, but I'm not sure I would give them anything to write with. I dont want them drawing all over the hall!

If you are having a kids table try covering the table with white paper You can buy it in rolls at michaels or any other craft store and give them washable crayons (just in case they do get color happy.) that will keep them at a table and you wont have tons of paper all over. Plus make a basket for each child filled with books cars dolls, maybe tavel games (you know the tiny versions of regular games).

Hey brooklynbridzilla, I thought you said the kids were well behaved?! so they shouldn't be drawing on the tables, kids today are a little more savy and sophisticated than we ten dto think

We had about 12 kids at our wedding....I made them coloring books and some goodie bags filled with crayons, stickers, games, etc. Everyone loved it!

We had a ton of kids at my brother's wedding this past July and in the beginning they had a blast taking pictures of people with the disposable cameras.. then after a while, they were given bags with different things, they had cheap handheld video games, dolls, and puzzle things.. it kept them occupied and they felt so special getting a gift!

They are great, really! But i guess even the best kid might be tempted with crayons.

I have 12 coming and I made up bags for them from Oriental Trading Company. It cost me $50 IN TOTAL for all 12 kids, and I got them little plush bride and groom bears too (at least the little kids and the girls). It's a great site for that kind of stuff.

I'm doing the paper and crayons thing too. I plan on looking at the dollar stores to see what goodies I can give them... Depending on budget constraints I might have a clown or something come in and entertain them in another room at the hall.

The only kids we have are the FG and RB. We're buying them each an ID breacelet and then I made them plastic briefcases full of stuff to entertain them during the wedding. They each have coloring books, crayons, markers, reading books, playing cards, Go Fish cards, stickers, hair stuff for the FG, cars for the RB, craft sets and I'm making them smaller bags with snacks and juice boxes.
