price that they are giving you for vendors and children - it should not be the same, so make sure you get it in writing.

also the timing of payments.

cancellation policy-and what happens if the payments are not made on time-all of our payments are due the 1st of the month-but we have until the 10th of the month for them to recieve it-and if they dont they can make us pay for the whole thing

I was dumb.. I didn't ask any questions.
I'm not really sure what my contract says.

I think you should have...
Price per person
Start & fin times
House fee
price of extras
Anything they 'throw in free'

If you bring in a cake from a bakery the halls sometimes charge you a cake cutting fee. If your hall provides the cake for you then you won't have one (i think this is correct at least).

Make sure the contract states which room your CH and reception will be in and starting to ending times.

Thanks Girls!!

Any other things??

I am not having our reception at an everyday wedding hall... which is why I am so stressed on having everything in the contract.

I have heard on this thread, that with this place you need to be very specific with every detail.

I did not want to be stuck with any last minute surprises. I did not select the hourderves, apps or entres, etc when I signed the contract, but I did negotiate that I would have 15 hourderves instead of the offered 10, that I would get a vegetarian option in addition to the beef, chicken and fish, and things like that. I got them to reduce the total price per person and the price of each of the added things.
