OK- So FH has off all day Sun. It's a rare day that we BOTH have off.
We want to do something other than going to lunch and coming home and sitting the couch.
I suggested wineries and he said NO, but I still may try and talk him into it. Any suggestions?
Do any of you girls have any suggestions for things to do .... even a day trip off LI.
We ruled out AC b/c we re going in Oct. He said NO to NYC too. He is so boring lately:
Also- he is the budget guru lately so we can't do anything too too expensive. But obviously we have to spend $ to do somthing! Duh FH! I mentioned Tanger and he wasnt too keen on that.
Tanger, lunch THEN wineries sounds like a day to me, but he didn't think so!

I convinced FH to go to Tanger by telling him we would buy attendant gifts tha twe would have spent $ on anyway. Little does he know whats gonna happen when I walk into the Coach outlet- HAHAHAAH...SUCKER

Its fun, and then you can walk around the grounds before/after if you want. ANNNNDDDDD you can get astronaut icecream in the gift shop!!

Pack a picnic (and a bottle of wine) and drive to Orient Point (the northern counterpart of Montauk Point).
FH and I love it there.
ditto ... walk around greenport - there are really cute shops, restaurants etc there and you can also go to orient since its like 10 mins from there. FH and I drive there like 3 times every summer, we make a day of it and go wine tasting, mini golfing, walk around the shops, sit on the docks/beach. I love those trips
ETS - also try the Restaurant Claudios ... amazing food and its right on the docks, great atmosphere
