What a horrible way to live your life. Being scrutinized on a daily basis and driving yourself basically into suicide. If these women don't die now, it will only be a matter of time with all of the irreversible damage they have done.

i heard that on oprah. i think it was us. you have to be 123 pounds to be a runway model.


It was SPAIN, not the US. Doesn't matter what the 'weight' requirement has to be....girls can get around that easy.

You know what, in my original post I replied that should be illegal, but now that I think about it, the pictures were most likely altered, and judging from many of us, we really didn't need to see them.

think about it...the pictures have to be altered...yes there is a pressure to be skinny on the runway - but they don't want them to look ugly. They wouldn't put someone looking like that on the runway.

As most girls have noticed, those are not real images.
They are actually altered as a means of 'thinspiration' or inspiring other anorexics to stay focused and motivated in their starvation.
I have a anorexic sister and these pics really helped me understand how anorexia is a mental disease with effects that afflict the body.

We should pray for girls who use these pics as thinspiration and for girls who suffer from a disease that leads them to destroy themselves......not insult them.

I'm sorry - but those are definitely air brushed!!! You can tell by the way it looks around the image....
