Think I can pull this off?

JMO, and don't flame me, but I think its terribly inconvenient and asking a lot of your guests to attend a wedding the day before Thanksgiving.

Travel is very expensive this time of year, so your guests would have to pay a premium to attend.

Also Thanksgiving is a huge family holiday for many - many may be put out by having to attend an affair the day before.

I know you can probably get a good deal, but I would be very upset as a guest if I were invited on this day.

I'm going to have to disagree with everyone else.

Time wise, yes.. you have enough time. BUT considering it's the day BEFORE Thanksgiving then no, I don't know if it's possible.

Whatever OOT'ers you have coming will be paying an ASTRONOMICAL amount of $ for plane tickets. (If you want to go on your honeymoon right after the wedding your airfiar is also going to be REALLY high) Many people start cooking the night before and I just don't see it as a possibility.

Sorry, JMO.

As i said on BHB my wedding is going to be this date. I don't have a lot of people coming from OOT and the ones that are are very excited to have an excuse to celebrate and see everyone! Also...we're leaving on our honeymoon Black Friday and got a great rate on airfare to St. Lucia. Don 't stress it! Do what works for you!

If you start now, you can definitely get it done. You are right around the 6 1/2 month mark. You can get a dress in time. Good luck!!!

Yes I think it can be done. Travel though is going to be tough on people. Not only bc of traffic but flights skyrocket for that weekend, and if someone is hosting Thanksgiving the next day I am sure they need the day/night before to prepare.

You can absolutely 100% get it done. I did it in 3. I lucked out and bought my dress off the rack in two hours...
I found plenty of vendors available.

You want it? Go for it!
