Re: THINK I LOST A BM
F that girl and the horse she rode in on. That absolutely is horrible! I'm so sorry, JJC! At the same time, though, there's something to be said for, as you say, finding out who your true friends are.
That doesn't change the fact that that is completely horrible, though. I really am sorry, and I hope everything works out for the best.

Ughh sorry to hear that. Although it may not be what you want to hear- better for you to find out now then to have a fake friend be a part of such a special day. On the other side as women we can be a bit much at times so hopefully this was just a one time deal and your friendship can be saved (and she can continue to be your BM)

Re: THINK I LOST A BM
It really ***** how the ugly comes out in people especially when you believe they are your friend. If she said hurtful things about you, I think you will be better off without her as a bm. If you really value your friendship with her and its something you can forgive than I'd work on the friendship, other wise chalk it up to some people aren't worth having as friends.

Okay, as usual, I am not the most rational person on here, and I have to say that Radiant Bride has a point. It may just be that she did something completely stupid and she may have written that email after she was upset or something.
Cooler heads prevail. Don't F her and the horse she rode in on if you guys have been friends for years. You may be able to salvage the relationship. Once you throw away a friend, it's very hard to repair those bonds, should you choose to one day.
Best of luck! I really hate that this is happening to you. I love JJC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: THINK I LOST A BM
dont worry about...keep it movin...you marrying the man you love and that all that matters
thanks ladies! I was actually as nice as i could be just hoping to get an apology and move on..then she got on the defensive and attacked me...bringing up stupid little things that have happened over the years... we have been friends since 98...my ex and her ex were best friends...thats how we met... anyway...she wrote back this horrid email and pretty much said that i should have a nice life but she was sorry all this happened at such a ****** time!
so me..feeling guilty cause i know she is mentally unstable...wrote back..first defending my integrity and then said that i had no intentions of ending the friendship,....just wanted an explanation from her! i said that i had still wanted her asa friend and bm but was hurt.... told her the balls in her court...still waiting on a response....
its just ridic! this chick is 39...but acting like shes in hs!

I'm sorry to hear this... I had the same situation...only a few months back. She never ordered the dress. I hope everything works out. I couldn't agree with you more... having a wedding really shows who's important to you.

This happened to me too and we are no longer friends. Sad. You really do find out who your true friends are.

I'm so sorry to hear it. You couldn't have said it b etter - you def find out who your true friends are. It's such a shame how ppl who you think are you closest friends can't just suck up their misery and be happy for you.
I lost a BM too which s*cks but now that i think about it all she would have done is caused drama. Unfortunately she is dating the best man so she'll be coming as his date to the wedding. I hate the fact that I have to see her on the happiest day of my life.

I'm sorry you are going thru this. I've had issues with one bridesmaid so I know what you are going thru. I hope she gets to her senses and apologizes to you!

Re: THINK I LOST A BM
i hope it works out for you, but like others said if it doesn't at least you find out NOW instead of having to look back on all your wedding photos with her in them.
