Think I may go for a theme wedding..

Sure I may not know what hall I'm using yet... but I do have my dress & lots of ideas for themes, decorations etc..

I don't know why this thought never popped into my head before....

But I'm going to do a Phantom of the Opera themed wedding.

Some ideas I've come up with so far...

*The Monkey Music Box holds 'the rings'
*Brides maids will each hold a single red rose with a black ribbon tied around it w/ pin or charm.
*First dance is to All I Ask of You
*Entrance to the theme.
*Phantom cake topper.
*Flower petals & lots of candles on the tables.
*I can walk down the aisle to the instrumental of Music of the Night....


This is just some off the top of my head stuff. Any other suggestions to add?

I think its a cute idea...just make sure the BM's don't look too morbid!! What color were you looking at for BM dresses??

I was thinking of purchasing a few masks (either phantom ones or masqurade ones) and do caligraphy on it with out names & our wedidng date.

I plan on taking a caligraphy class at the high school in a few months since they offer it for like $20.

Yes it's the dark purple they are currently featuring on the magazine & in store displays. I was thinking dark red at first but think it would be too with the roses & be a bit too dramatic.

I think the purple blends a bit better.

I also found these clip on charms of the mask & a single rose that I could clip onto the ribbon around the single rose.


Now if only I could sent the chandlier crashing down at the end of the night!

PURPLE = MY FAVORITE COLOR!

you can do the centerpieces to mimic the waterway down to the phantoms lair...small candleabras with mirrors to reflect the light (as if boucning off of the water...) and do flowers in the 'boat' kinda thing...

Bridal party enter to Masquerade?

(You could do you entrance with FH to 'poor fool he makes me laugh, hahahahaha' lol and then you can start croaking!!! )

I love those ideas!! I was thinking about something like that as CP and I'd have rose petals around on the table tops.

I even found a full instrumental version of Music of the Night that I could use to walk down the aisle to .... or maybe just use the original for the first dance.

That's the room they want to give me! I just hope it's not too cramed (with dance floor space to spare) for 120 people. I'm kinda hoping less RSVP
