Mine was Alphaville, 'Forever Young' too. I loved that song, I still do. It was better then a lot of the cheezy hair metal band songs we had to choose from

Jr. Prom was Billy Joel, 'This is the time to remember' (or whatever you all said the title was) I didn't go, but they played the song at the Sr. Prom too. I love it but it always makes me sad.

I think that my senior prom song was Don't you forget about me....(from the breakfast club soundtrack) and my Junior prom was never say goodbye by Bon Jovi

i will give you some background on this one.

This was the song that me and my fh had our first kiss. it was magical and such. just thought i would share that.
It was the last song at our prom.

i dont even think we were even listening to the song. we were just dancing and gazing into eachothers eyes. yes very cheezy i know!

Ours was 'in your eyes' as if that makes sense??? why they picked that song for a prom i'll never know.....

One day, I'm guessing your prom was either 87 or 88. Our runner-up song was Alphaville (my vote), but Styx, 'The Best of Times' won.

We had wanted 'Never Say Goodbye' by Bon Jovi, but the dean, a nun, thought the lyrics,

'you lost more than that in my back seat' was 'not appropriate.'
