So, we decided on a May 29, 2010 date. And last night we went to the Lombardi's on the Sound showcase. It was awesome and I had never been there before. I LOVED everything about the place and the food was so great. I actually got a really good price for a holiday weekend on a Saturday too, which I was surprised about. I thought it would be much higher. I was nervous to speak with them at first because of bad reviews i've seen about their customer service, but the banquet manager, Anna, we dealt with was so nice and helpful even with how many people were there. We are going to look at a few more places this weekend and if we don't like them as much or can't get as good of a deal, we'll book on Tuesday when I go back with my parents! I'm so excited! Just thought I'd share!

Congrats! I just got married there on 8/31. I will post a review soon. The view there is AMAZING and overall it is very nice there. I found the customer service leading up to the day of to be pretty bad though. I feel they have the attitude like if you don't get married here someone else will. they are not very flexible. Overall day of I was pretty happy and for the most part heard rave reviews from the guest. I'm angry though because we had our ceremony there and they never put out my personalized isle runner or any runner for that matter. I'm still trying to get it back from them, it seems like they may have lost it. They kind of bums me out because I really liked my runner but its not the end of the world I guess. I heard the cocktail hour was amazing, I was not there for that though. The rest of the food I thought was just ok. I'm from MD though and here while they don't do as much food at weddings I think the quality is much better , so maybe I expected too much from wedding food. Most people said the food was very good. The cake was delicious and gorgeous! I was very happy with the cake, I got the upgrade thru the bakery but the price wasn't too bad. I hope to have a review and some photos up soon.
