So, we decided on a May 29, 2010 date. And last night we went to the Lombardi's on the Sound showcase. It was awesome and I had never been there before. I LOVED everything about the place and the food was so great. I actually got a really good price for a holiday weekend on a Saturday too, which I was surprised about. I thought it would be much higher. I was nervous to speak with them at first because of bad reviews i've seen about their customer service, but the banquet manager, Anna, we dealt with was so nice and helpful even with how many people were there. We are going to look at a few more places this weekend and if we don't like them as much or can't get as good of a deal, we'll book on Tuesday when I go back with my parents! I'm so excited! Just thought I'd share!

That was the first place we looked at....not going to lie, we did not have the best experience there. However, the food is really good and the location is beautiful!! FYI - For a saturday night in Nov, I was quoted $78pp ++, so you have something to compare it to.

oooh i was at that showcase last night...the food was banging...i'm at villa lombardi's, u should check that place out also it's the same menu

Yea...I heard the same thing about Lombardi's and their service. I know a bunch of people who didn't have good experiences from the beginning. So far, since last night, they have been awesome. The lady we are working with is great. So let's hope that continues. Thanks for the price quote too.

I was just there this past weekend for a bridal showe and i have to say i was very impressed. I leave close to Lombardi's Restraunt and i have never thought it was all that great but Lombardi's on the sound really was. The staff was very helful with loading up the gifts from the shower and service was good the view was amazing. Let us know how is goes. Congrates!

You won't find a place with food as good (except for Villa Lombardis obv.)... trust me I went to 16 halls in total. Every hall has something different to offer but there best feture is by far that amazing view and their huge food selection. It was a really hard choice for my FH and I. I still haven't ruled it out but FH didn't like the bar/ resturant filled with drunken golfers, the fact that a party might be going on upstairs. I also wanted a wood dance floor. Those are really trival personal things though. They place is amazing. Good luck making your choice! It has been agonizing for us!
