my friend raves about that place, just one piece of advice-DONT GO ON A WEEKEND!!! it can get crazy in there...go on a weekday if you can

Agreed! I went on a saturday morning the first time. If you are going to go on a weekend be there when it opens so you can put your name down right away and be taken right away!

I got the MOB and MOG dress there....but seriously a weekend = mad house..I've gone on weekdays and place is empty lets you relax and search..weekends you definitely feel rushed..

I order BM dresses from RK no frills- it was so easy to do the price match and the customer service was great.

The are very response to your questions and I requested a swatch and after the order was confirmed (24 hrs after I placed it) I got the swatch 2 days later!

So far so good. If the dresses come in late then I might have to change me mind.

my friend is getting her wedding dress from there... She shopped around and fell in love with a certain dress at a store in flushing. When she went to RK Bridal she found the same dress for hundreds less.

I got my dress there, my mom got her dress there and I ordered the BM dresses through the no-frills program. No complaints at all! I agree with the above posters though, dont' go on a weekend.

Olga was awesome! If you know the dress you want, bring the price...I found my dree for $280 less online but we had already put the order through so they would not match the price....other than that..it was a GREAT experience.
Go during the week, at opening.

I got my dress and the BM dresses at RK bridal. Alison helped me.

The service was outstanding. All of the dresses came in early, and the alterations were perfectly done. I highly recommend RK.

I tried on my gown there, but The Wedding Center in Commack offered to match their price--although they didn't have a sample of my gown. This works better for me as I can easily pick up my gown in the car from Commack. Would have been a pain to get it from RK Bridal--train? No. Would have had to get it shipped, where it would wrinkle, or drive into Mahattan. So Commack it was!

However, it's a great place to try on gowns. You can walk around the racks youself and see a million different dresses. I found one there that I never considered otherwise (although I didin't get it.

Just as everyone said, go at an off time, you really can wait forever.

I got my gown there. Thier prices are great.I paid Waaay less than I thought I would there.

Plus they give you 10% off your veil, headpiece & shoes if you get your dress there!

Def. DO NOT go on a weekend! Afterwork, on a weekday, it's a ghost town in there. If you can make it into the city, then it's the way to go.
