Okay so Im sitting here at work on my break thinking about the wedding. Now.....Im not 100% sure I want a Christmas theme wedding. The hall will be decorated for Christmas for the wedding. Im torn on the color I want for my BM's
Since you are all incredibly helpful, I would like your input on what color BM dresses you think would be nice.
The whole wedding planning has most certainly affected my thinking ability.

What about grey? Like a charcoal-y color or you could even do a lighter version in the gray family.

Red/Silver really would be beautiful.
You could also (if you find the right dress for it!) try blue/silver... like a snowflake. That would be tough though, since so many blue things can look too summery.

I used this for a Sept. wedding as well! You could attempt a red and brown for a Nov. wedding if you didn't like silver.

For a winter themed wedding you can do the following colors:
navy red forrest green plum, cool shades of purple silver darker grey
You could do jewel tones, too - like an emerald green or darker purple.

I am having a Christmas Theme wedding, and my girls are in Red dresses. Everything is red and white. The hall is going to look SO beautiful.

My hall had all the Christmas decorations up, and while I did not do a Christmas theme I did use a Burgundy color to complement the decorations they had up. I went the Christmas before to see all the decoration and choose the color after that.

I was thinking along the same lines! Jewel tones would be really pretty!!!
ETA: the snowflake idea is good too, with some really cool blues and off whites.

I like the jewel tones idea...especially the emerald green....I may be biased because its my favorite color...
AND I saw these FABULOUS shoes in DSW over the weekend that were emerald green satin...gorgeous...Green would work if you decide you want to do Christmas, and it would work if you didn't!
