Thinking of sending this letter ...

First, a little background. I have a friend who was a BM at my wedding who I lost touch with. Actaully, she 'lost' me. I have tried calling her, sending e-mails, etc for the past year and haven't heard anything from her. At first, I thought she was just busy and couldn't call me back. Maybe she's mad at me? About what! Her first anniverary is next week, so I'm thinking of sending a card saying:

Dear XXX:

I want to wish you and XXX a very happy first anniverary. I hope you have fun plans! I've tried calling and e-mailing since last year and haven't heard back from you. I completely understand your busy with your children and job and I hope everything is alright.

Is this too weird? Should I not send it? If she is pissed at me, I wish I knew why! The last time I saw her was last year (at her wedding and I was a BM!)
