So I barely got any sleep last night because I'm still trying to decide between BM dresses. Now my mom thinks that because I'm so undecided, I should keep looking and see if I can find anything else. My fear is that I'll find a THIRD dress that I like and then will have three to choose from instead of two
And I know I have time, but I'd like to get this decision made so that I don't have to worry about it anymore. I'm the type of person that will keep going back and forth until I just put my foot down and choose one. I'm going to make myself crazy if I keep this up.
Did anyone else have this hard of a time finding BM dresses????
Pics in my album....the first two are the two we've been deciding between and the color swatch....and the others are the ones my mom thinks we should go look at

I had a really tough time deciding. The first time I went, I went just with my MOH and picked out 3 or 4 dresses we like. My fav was her least fav!
Anyway, then the next time I went with just my MOH and mom, and we narrowed it down to three. Again, my favorite was their least favorite. Ultimately, I took all my girls to try on my top 3. I asked them all their opinions on the dresses. Finally, my mother said to me 'christine get what you want and thats all that matters,' So I ended up getting my 2nd fav.
It came in last week and I saw it on all the girls and it looked amazing, I'm so happy with my choice.
So my advice would be get what you want, you have to make yourself happy. I know you want to please everyone but thats impossible. Go with what you think it going to look best in your wedding.

I loved the one i picked as much as my bm's did. did they all get to try both on, id let them be the deciding factor since they have to wear it

I havent started looking yet but I am worried about this because everyone in my bp is so dramatically different in size-literally one is anorexic-no joke we are all afraid for her health, one is tall and heavy, one is short and heavy, and the other is super tall and normal. Of course I am making it more difficult because I would really like everyone to wear the same thing not just the same color

my moh/ sister dropped a bomb on me when we went dress shopping for me. she wants a different designer!!!!!!! i had picked impressions because the price was very good. I think $130. keep in mind im only picking the color and fabric and letting them pick the dress they want she saw a dress (cant remember the designer) i think was a little over $200. so i asked the rest of my bm if that price would be ok with them. they all said YES!! they would even do a little more. W*T*F*?!?!? here i am trying to keep the budget low for them and they want to spend more?!?!?

When we went on Sunday, I brought my two MOH's and one BM. So that's three out of the 7. Then I emailed the other 4 pictures of our favorite two from that day. 4 out of the 7 like the one with the sweetheart neckline (Jasmine L1009), 2 like the other one (Jasmine L1069) and one hasn't gotten back to me.
I also really like the sweetheart one. I just don't know if I should continue to look for a different dress or if I should just choose between these two.
They have all given me their preferences, but of course tell me that in the end it's my choice and they'll wear whatever I ask them to. I just don't want anyone to be uncomfortable, or tell me that they're happy in something even if they're not. KWIM?????

Just a suggestion since you can't decide between the (2). Would you be against having 1/2 of the girls in one dress and 1/2 in the other- same color though...

I'm sure if they really didn't like it they'd say something, no?? If they're saying they like both and ultimately it's up to you to make the final decision, just do it. Don't worry about it so much! Both dresses are really really beautiful. I don't think you'll be making the wrong decision with either, and I'm sure that's how your BMs feel. I wouldn't keep looking if you've narrowed it down to 2, it will just confuse you more.

I like this idea, or the MOH in one, and the rest of the girls in the other. Maybe the sweetheart neckline for your MOH, and the other dress for the rest of the girls. I was going to do something like this, until I decided to put them all in the same dress and just change the color of my MOH's.

I know how you feel this was the most stressful part for me! What I would do is go with the girls and ask them which one they like better, between the two dresses. All the stores pretty much have the same thing I went to three stores looking at bridemaid dresses and it is a headache and i still chose the first dress I looked at with my sister and one of the girls, now the next part them ordering the dress one girl and my sister already have gone 4 more left they have till July 1.

HAve them go and try on the dresses and see what each girl looks like in them and how they feel in the dress!

I hate all bridesmaid dresses because the material is absolutley horrendous!!!! Out of all of the ones posted in your album, i personally like #1 the best and may look into it. It looks like chiffon (not sure) which is pretty. It also seems like it would be flattering and not fattening for the girls....I am going through the same disappointment as you for bm dresses now so I feel your pain.

I REALLY don't want to put them in different dresses. I prefer everyone to be in the same ones.
Katie - they are all chiffon. I wanted something that didn't look to 'bridesmaid-y' and that *maybe* they might wear again....even if they wanted to cut it down after and make a cocktail dress. Also because the wedding is in June, I wanted a lighter material than satin.
I'm really leaning towards the first one in my album. That's the one that 4 of the girls have said they like best, including my two MOH's.
Thank you girls for your advice and letting me vent. I think I'll take the other girls to try on the first one and see what they think.

OMG.... I am the exact same way... I have dragged my girls out shopping numerous times, felt like we found THE ONE or found THE COLOR only to go home that night and stay up all night changing my mind. I think my BMs want to kill me. I think what is best for everyone is for me to stay away from all BM dresses and give myself a little bit of a break. I think it may be best for you to keep looking at dresses and I think that may help you out. OR is there one dress out of the two that the girls like better, or are they just as undecided? You do have a little bit more time. I am waiting for the new season of dresses to come out in July-August before I start losing sleep all over again. I know how you feel... Good Luck!

for my girls i picked out a couple dresses that i like and made them all choose and then i picked the one most of the girls liked best...maybe that could help you...or maybe you could do half in one half in the other..or the MOH in one and the rest in the other so you have both dresses in your pics
