So you know what my biggest fear about my wedding is?

That a world series game will be played on my wedding day and I will have to choose between my reception and a sports bar to watch my Yankees play!!

I don't think the Thatched Cottage has TVs!!

Thanks!! If I have to get a Plasma Screen to put on the wall as one of my 'add-ons' so be it!! Maybe I'll add it to the registry, just in case!!

The rest of my family are huge Phillies fans and the Phils are doing well right now (2 games ahead of the Mets at last check), so they are more freaked than me. Because let's face it - the Yanks will be there again next year and this might be the Phils only chance!!

Ha!!!

When we were having a rough time picking a date, FH was adamant against October, then last October I finally figured out why when all the B2Bs were posting about World Series vs. Weddings! I felt for those girls.

And with that, I'll give you a little joke:

What's the difference between the hot dogs at Yankee Stadium and those at Fenway?

The hot dogs in Yankee Stadium are served in October.

My Assistant is a huge Red Sox fan and I'm a huge Yankees fan. We are a sponsor of the Yankees, so my boss always makes sure we get the Yanks-Sox tix. We were at THE GAME last week when Jeter dove into the stands - best game I have EVER been to!!
