they haven't conf irmed cause of death yet! This dirtbag is still breathing , and that poor girl isn't . I hope to god he get the death penalty if not send me in he 'll wish he never met me!

I was wondering the same thing!! It almost seemed they started out in very casual conversation and then you could see the total shock and fear in her face as he led her away. It was really heartbreaking to watch.

My first guess would be that he made up a story about a friend or family member that was in trouble maybe mentioning that she needs to go with him. That is how those sickos usually do it. You could totally see her reluctancy; that she knew it was wrong to go with him.

I knew what this thread was about before I opened it. My DH & I were watching the news at noon and I am so heartbroken, I couldn't stop crying. After the Elizabeth Smart case, I find that I start to believe there may be hope that missing children will be found OK. This poor sweet little girl...

They said in the paper yesterday that the guy knew the stepfather of the girl whose house she was staying at. Sick f*&k! They have the death penalty in Florida you know

This is news to me.. but then again.. I told Jim she was dead as soon as I saw her picture.

Shame that this man has done this before and the justice system failed to present a worthy case and he was aquitted.

I think it was a bad idea to show the picture of him grabbing her. It would have been one thing if they showed an edited photo saying 'This man is wanted for questioning' If I were a criminal and I know that I was caught on film there would be no use keeping the girl alive. Yes, murder is a harsher charge than kidnapping but how many kidnappers keep children for fun and games with no intention of later killing them.. very few (altho I know they're out there). Showing him on TV with her only sped it up. JMO.

Shame.

I agree with what you said about them showing him kidnap her on tv, that maybe it sped her murder along....but also, maybe, just maybe it helped people get a good idea of what she looked like at the time it happened and what the man looked like...even the way he moved....the more people who are aware, the better. It's like a catch-22 almost....
It could have helped OR hurt.
i just know this man should die the worst kind of death possible.
