Everyday there is a new wedding fiasco. People RSVPing with their girlfriends that we never knew existed, my cousin insisting he is bringing his estranged ex-stripper wife, people refusing to sit in close proximity of certain other people, people involved in our ceremony deciding they dont really feel like it.
WHAT THE EFFFF IS GOING ONNN?? This cannot be normal in other weddings????

I would tell them that the extras are not invited and there will not be a seat for them (and don't feel bad about it - they are the ones that have the nerve to even suggest bringing someone who is not invited!). As for the people trying to tell you where they want to/don't want to sit, just nod and smile and sit them wherever you want - they have no business even suggesting a seating arrangement to you. People really do suck!

Boy oh boy! I'm going thru the same thing! I had someone write a 2 over the 1 on the RSVP. Two of my fiance's friends all of the sudden have 'girlfriends' when they wouldn't even claim them as girlfriends before! One person I personally asked TWICE, so who are you bringing to the wedding? And they said no one so I reserved ONE seat for them and after the got the invite got upset and said, why did u write in just one for me... really??? So yeah, you're not the only one.
