I had 1 ticket that I have been disputing over the last 2 months & they still took my truck!
We awoke this morning & thought it was stolen
After going to Jamaica & paying the ticket & towing fees, then all the way to College Point to the tow yard and $550 later, I got my truck back.
They said I may get the money back after the dispute But still!!!!!!!!!!

I know... I totally eat it up, too..... it cracks me up. Then they ask me technical questions trying to throw me off & I rifle the answers back at them!
BTW... I got a ticket near St. John's for the plate frame thing.
I have custom plates, and I got a custom frame to match it (Dale Earnhardt plate & frame.) Well, this cop must have been a Marlin fan b/c he was buggin that the plate covered The 'E' in empire! He made me take it off or face a ticket!
